The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) called on PARACHIN to re-image their main campus bookstore, located in the historic student union building conceived by Walter Netsch. New store fixtures were designed to accommodate the wide diversity of campus bookstore merchandise and still maintain a unified retail image. Enhancing the spirit of the UIC Flames, PARACHIN created graphic panels mounted atop wall fixtures that introduces some “Rah, Rah” to the store environment. The graphic panels incorporate tag lines: “ignite knowledge” and “spark intellect” to provide subtle cues to UIC’s academic mission.
